Attention 3rd, 4th and 5th grade families! Your students now have the option to ride their bikes to school. To take advantage of this new privilege, participation in the Bike Rodeo safety session is required to ensure all riders understand and practice safe biking habits.

How to Prepare:
- Bike Safety Video 1 – Rules of the Road for Kids (3:28) or google “How to ride a bike safely with Rules of the Road fun for Kids”
- Bike Safety Video 2 – Bicycle Safer Journey (5:03) or google “bicycle safer journey by Federal Highway Administration” (it’s the cartoon video)
What to bring to the Bike Rodeo:
- Proper Sized Bike
- Helmet
- Completed Registration Form
Parents we need your help to make this event a success. The Hinsdale Police Department and King Keyser are on site to ensure bikes are safe and students pass their tests. This is traditionally a 3rd grade parent volunteering opportunity, but anyone is welcome!
